On September 5, 2017 Avast® Business CloudCare will be releasing a new Antivirus engine update and a re-brand to our platform and services.

With the AVG and Avast® merge, we have been working on making our Antivirus solutions more robust, combining both Avast® and AVG’s technology together to provide better protection for all.

There will be some re-brand changes, which will include logo, badge, text, help guide and color scheme changes in different areas to reflect our Avast® branding.

SCHEDULED CLIENT UPDATE

On September 5, 2017 we will release the new Avast® Business Antivirus client. This means that you can upgrade your devices using the following methods:

CloudCare Upgrade tool – can be run on each device.

Update Customer, Update Group and Update Device options in the Customer Devices section – which will remotely upgrade devices.

Reinstall using any of the 3 deployment methods.

If using the Update Agent, please upgrade the Update Agent to 4.0 first, before using Update Company.

Automatic endpoint client upgrades will happen at a later time. Email communication will be provided with more details.
